Meet Us
Lynelle fulfills the role of principal. She is the one that runs H.E.N.Z. and the one you'll usually hear on the phone. Although HENZ is a way to make a living she also considers it to be a service to parents who, like her, believe homeschooling is the best for their children. She loves to hear her customer's success stories.
Lynelle also studies part time, pursuing her interests, particularly in English.
In addition to Lynelle there are three other people who occasionally lend a hand especially during busy times like when a newsletter is being sent out or when reports are due. If you ring you might hear them on the phone.
Robert, Lynelle's husband, holds the separate but related job of A.C.E. co-ordinator for NZ. He is employed by Southern Cross Educational Enterprises (S.C.E.E.) Australia (the same company that provides the core curriculum to our homeschoolers). His job is to support Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) schools in NZ, Cook Islands and Vanuatu, to promote the A.C.E. curriculum and Christian education in these nations, and to administer A.C.E. conventions and conferences.
Angelene is the second child and oldest daughter. She gained her B.A and B.Ed (at Secondary level) from Christian Heritage College in Brisbane before teaching for three and a half years at Lake Taupo Christian School that uses the A.C.E. curriculum. At the time of writing she is studying at the Bible College of NZ. She marks literature essays and Social Studies projects.
Melanie is the youngest. She lives at home while studying at Bethlehem Tertiary Institute for her degree in counselling. She can sometimes be heard answering the phone and writes articles for the newsletter. She has a diploma in internet technology and designed my website, which she occasionally updates when she has the time.
